Jane Austen books
2024
These are book design concepts for three of Jane Austen’s most popular novels: Emma, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility. I also designed a few pages from the inside of the books!
The goal was to create a fresh, modern look for the series to help engage a younger audience with Austen’s work.
atmo

The editorial staff of atmo – the new and upgraded reincarnation of the discontinued Greenpeace magazine – has provided our cover design course with an assignment: To design a wordmark and logo for their magazine/brand and to present them on an examplatory layout of the magazine’s cover.
These are the ideas I came up with!

BEYOND THE WALL
2023/24
BEYOND THE WALL is a 30-page comic I made during a graphic storytelling seminar. It’s about Taro and his friend Morton, who claims to have seen a mysterious, outer-dimensional being.

The Cat Manifesto
2023/24
„The Cat Manifesto“ is a 16-page-zine about the hypothetical scenario of cats ruling the world. That might sound like a bad idea at first, because cats would surely plunge the entire earth into chaos, right? .. WRONG!
We humans may have to play by their rules in this future, but we might also benefit from the changes because maybe that’s exactly what we need: a new, more spontaneous, fluffier way of living.
I created this zine during a layout intro course under the motto „Imagine…“, where we would come up with zine ideas about a utopian future.
Daydreaming CD
2023/24
„Daydreaming“ is a concept for a CD I designed during a CD cover course. It consists of a digipack including a CD and 8-page-booklet with lyrics; the featured songs as well as the cover design are meant to convey a ‚day-dreamy‘ atmosphere.
Bonnie MacLean brochure
2023/24
This brochure about iconic psychedelic poster artist Bonnie MacLean is the result of a layout exercise: We picked a designer (or simply a person that has done something layout-y in their career) of our choice and made an informative brochure about them, mimicking the style of their work as best as possible.

Lightify
2022/23
Lightify is an app design for a simple smart home app to regulate lamps and room lights. I made it as part of an interaction design course in my first semester, where we had the task to plan out and implement a utility app in Figma.

This is the final presentation of the typography basics course I had in my very first semester. It contains everything we did during that seminar!
